Organizations and Decision Procedures within the Swedish Pentecostal M

The survey was first presented as a paper about political science in 1973. The material shows in detail the different structures in the organization which developed in the Swedish Pentecostal Movement between 1912 and 1972. The author points out that the decision processes were hard to comprehend for the ordinary members.
The different companies worked as a hidden society and had in practice the functions that were the distinguishing features of a nonconformist church. Among other things the survey showed how such centralization was possible in the Pentecostal Movement which officially protected the independence of the local churches.
